Tells Poker launched on the App Store so one difficult hand could move from memory to a useful review without waiting for a laptop. The current iOS app now carries that full post-hand workflow: capture the facts, replay the action, examine the decisions, and share the complete spot.
The hand is over. The lesson is not. Tells is designed for completed-hand and post-session study, not for real-time assistance while a hand is in progress.
Capture the hand while the details are still clear
Quick Capture gives you one open field where you can type or say what happened in natural poker language. Guided Entry moves one question at a time through the details when you want more structure. Both paths are built to preserve positions, stacks, cards, action, and sizing before memory smooths over the important parts.
After a hand is saved, the Hands feed keeps your history searchable with card and position filters. That makes it easier to return to a specific spot instead of relying on a screenshot or a note with missing context.
Replay the action before judging the result
Every detailed hand opens with Replay. The table shows the seats, active players, cards, pot, bet chips, and action in sequence. A street scrubber and action breakdown let you stop at the exact decision you want to inspect.
That pause matters. It gives you a chance to ask what you knew at the time, what each size represented, and which ranges could reach the spot before the outcome starts rewriting the story.
Review a verified street-by-street debrief
The Analysis tab organizes the review by street with A–D grades and quick takes. It also brings in deterministic spot math, range reasoning, an alternative line, one key insight, and a what-if branch so the output is easier to question and apply.
Treat the debrief as a structured second opinion. It is there to pressure-test your reasoning, not to declare that one answer is perfect for every lineup, read, or game condition.
Share the complete spot, not a summary
Tells can create a share image for a quick preview or copy a hand link for the full experience. Anyone with the link can open the shared hand, replay the action, read the Analysis tab, and join the discussion in Table Talk.
Comments, replies, and hand-owner polls stay attached to the hand. You can also add players by friend code, chat in Tells, and send a hand directly to a friend without rebuilding the context in another conversation.
Keep poker night organized
Beyond individual hands, the ledger records cash-game and tournament sessions. The organizer can run hosted cash games or multi-table tournaments, track players and buy-ins, record cash-outs or payouts, and settle the final numbers with a confirmation step.
Tournament hosts can create blind levels, run the clock, and share a read-only live view. It keeps the operational side of the game next to the review habits that happen afterward.
